Kate earned her graduate degree in Psychological
Counseling from Columbia University and is currently completing her doctorate
in Health Policy and Social Justice from Drexel University's Dornsife School of

sexual assault response, trauma-informed practice, and Motivational Interviewing.
Kate launched Watson Wellness Promotion in 2012, and now she conducts approximately 50 workshops per year with participants across many disciplines. Kate is passionate about lending counseling techniques to non-counselors, as she believes that one need not be a therapist to be therapeutic in their work.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys long distance
running, drinking coffee, and cheering for the Philadelphia Union soccer
